Hello,
I think this is a yes but I would like to confirm.
Using the MAX31855 with a t-type thermocouple is ok right?
I searched, but didn't not see a direct answer.
Also if I follow the standard tutorial (http://learn.adafruit.com/thermocouple/) I should still be good, correct?
Thanks in advance.

K and T type thermocouples have different sensitivities and response curves. You can connect a T type thermocoupole, but to the Max31855, but you will not get accurate temperature measurements from it.

Ah ok, thank you.
Any recommendations for a T-type?

Re: MAX31855 and T-type thermo couples
There is a MAX31855T which is designed for T-type thermocouples, but I don't know of any breakout boards based on it.
It is pin-compatible with the MAX31855K that we use. The board-files are here if you want to make your own: https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit-MA ... kout-board
