Adafruit Fingerprint scanner

Post by GuruShiva »

Hello, I have a Fingerprint scanner and as we know it, it does have very short wires that causes unstable connection, However, in the tutorial I see that it has been soldered to a header am I right? What is a better way for making a stable connection with the scanner. Much appreciated.

Soldering the wires to some header pins makes a very good connection. You can also use some solid-core wire. But I find that the headers work best.

You can just trim them back, strip off some more insulation and re-solder.
