I just built the proto-shield v.5 this morning.
I was very careful to install the 3mm LED's correctly.
But neither of them light up when I install a sketch, nor does the red LED light up when I run the Blink sketch.
If I put a standalone LED on the board (I installed the mini breadboard) with wires to ground and a resistor, that LED works fine so the board as a whole works. I've checked the additional grounds and 5v connections and they work.
What should I do to troubleshoot to find out why neither of my on-board LED's are working?

Post a photo of your shield (front and back, with enough light and detail that we can see the connections) and we'll see what we can do.
