How to flash CC3000 firmware?

Post by tech500 »

Currently the firmware on my CC3000 shield is 1.24; TI's latest firmware is 1.28 (TI's release 1.13.)

How do you flash/update the firmware? What is the process?

I am looking for Adafruit's process using driverpatch_1_13 from Adafruit's latest CC3000 library.

Will driverpatch_1_13 flash the Adafruit CC3000 shield?

Trying to run driverpatch_1_13; hanging on initializing CC3000.

Any help much appreciated. Thank you.

My error... I forgot to remove the SD Card.

I was able to Flash the Adafruit CC3000 Shield successfully. with driverpatch_1_13 from the latest Adafruit CC3000 library.
