Hi there,
I've been trying to use the ultimate GPS flora Breakout on a project but it doesn't seem to be able to get a fix, no matter how long I stay in an open area.
The thing is that the GPS module was placed on the inside of the t-shirt. Could that alone prevent it from getting a fix? Would an antenna (passive) help?
Thanks!

Being close to your body would have much more effect than being under a shirt (electrically, humans are bags of salt water that make excellent antennas), but even that shouldn't keep the module from getting a fix.
Can you get a fix with the device sitting on its own and with a clear view of the sky?

On an open sky it gets the fix just fine.
It actually sits between a t-shirt and a piece of fabric, so it's not in direct contact with the skin. :/

It's best if you can situate it with the antenna facing up and as far away from "shadowing" parts. a shoulder or head location would be best. Here is how adafruit did it https://learn.adafruit.com/flora-gps-jacket
