nRF8001 standalone mode?

Post by djszk »

Is there a way to use the nRF8001 breakout in a standalone mode? I need it to send a fixed message when an external button is pressed and I'd like to keep the whole setup to use a coin cell for as long as possible.

Another thought is to use a Teensy 3.1 in conjunction with the ultra low power library and the nRF8001 to accomplish this.

Thanks!

Dave

No. You'll need a microcontroller of some kind.
