Bluefruit EZ-Key L1 Key input light stays on

Post by potentater »

Hello,

It seems I have a few anomalies with my Bluefruit EZ-Key.

I've noticed that the LED hooked to the L1 "key light" pin and the "tx" light remains on once I press a button connected to any one of the 12 pins. This light is off at power-on. It comes on, and stays on once I press any one of the 12 buttons.

If I map a letter to pin 4, when I press another button, whatever is mapped to pin 4 fills my notepad. It looks like pin 4 is stuck on. It's important to note here that I don't have as much as a wire connected to pin 4.

I haven't connected pin 4, (or any of the other input pins,) to anything but ground. Is there some sensitivity here that I am unaware of? It doesn't look like this is a wiring issue either. Is there any way to repair this condition or is this unit just defective?

Very odd. Let's try replacing it. Please email [email protected] with a link to this thread for a replacement EZ-Key
