v1.2 in EU help?

I recently bought the tv b gone kit and i assembled it. BUT in your instructons it says i need to install the 10k ohm resistor in so that it use EU codes because I live in central Europe, the only thing is I didn't get that resistor in my package. I tested the kit on my Samsung and Sony tv's and it works perfectly, so the question is should i go buy the resistor and install it or just leave it like this?

There's a lot of overlap in codes - and there's more TVs that are sold all regions - so try both and use whichever one is best for your region
