Instead of fitting the circuit board and battery holder into a case, I thought, make the board fit in place of a battery.
I also made a board for AA size that has 4 LEDs. A box for 4 batteries would be better (4.5v) but, this is what I had on hand.
The built in power switch is handy as well. As a first try to fit it in, I did use a couple of surface mount components on the bottom.

Thats nice, did you use perf board or did you etch your own board? if either way i would love to see pics of the bottom of the board, and if you etched it would be awesome if you would post the files so someone could eetch there own
