Hi there
I'm currently working on a universal IR remote, and I'd like to have many IR leds to improve performances.
My problem is the led driver. I'l like to replace the transistor based one by one of those babies: http://BANNED/ffn6Ti
Which one should I choose, knowing that I'd like to use an Arduino Mega supplied by 4 NiMh AA batteries and have...let's say 6 IR led, roughly the same as those sold with the TV-B-Gone kit.
Thanks for your help!!

Re: IR LED Driver
If you're wanting a universal remote just for your own TV etc (ie: nothing long-range) then you only need 1 standard IR LED - that is all the commercial remotes have. Don't bother with 6, it's not needed.
My Philips TV remote has two IR LEDs, but everything else I have just has one.
There's no reason to have more than two unless you want long range (which is only really useful for things like the TV-B-Gone)
