Quick, TO THE SPORTS BAR

Post by crash coredump »

I ordered the Ladyada Electronics Toolkit w/ TV-B-Gone -- it was shipped Monday from downtown Manhattan, and the post office decided to drive it out to Long Island that day, and then drive it back today and deliver it to me on the Upper East Side -- makes sense right...

Anyway this is my first project in literally 20 years -- my last was an epic failure of a voice recorder kit that I got from Radio Shack when I was 11 or 12. I sat down with the toolkit and the TV-B-Gone today at about 3 PM and finished at 3:55 PM. I'm so excited, check out my pics:

This photo is sort of bad, all four of them were flickering but it's difficult to see in the actual shot.

Couldn't be happier with the online instructions and the toolkit. Now I just need to field test this thing....

Any big games coming up?

Bahaha, nice job! Are the sports bars wise to these things yet? Mine is still in the bag, hoping to motivate the offspring to assemble it :-)

Well that has to be the next best place! Did anyone suspect you?

The employees were barely aware that there were even customers in the store, much less that some of the TVs were off.
