Samsung LED TV Codes

Post by Pepponski »

Hi all,

I soldered a kit a couple of weeks ago. Really funny for friday afternoon in malls 8)

But there are some flat screens which resists the shutoff signal. Especially Samsung. My web search results are:
Samsung uses the NECx2 Codec, Device 7.7, the hexcode is:
0000 006D 0000 0022 00AA 00AA 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0040 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0040 0014 0014 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 0040 0014 06EE

The frequence is 38,4khz, somehow explained here:

Is there a chance to get this hexcode into the wordcodes file with a script or a arithmetic way by hand? I'm not that familiar with converting things into programming language, but with a kind of recipe it should work.

The tutorial talks about how the codes are stored in the program.

It would probably take me a week to figure out how to get your samsung into it.

I read the tutorial carefully, though. But without the timings in ms (on/off) it seems to be quite difficult.

Any ideas?
