I assembled my TV-B-Gone kit today and modified a project Box from Radio Shack for it to fit in. I included a different switch and LED mounts. Now, I have not picked up a soldering iron in over 10+ years. It took about four and a half hours to get everything just right.
I tested it out on someone unsuspecting and it worked like a charm. I then brought it to my room to check the LEDs on my Intel iMac. Sure enough they were all firing. About ten minutes later, however, everything turned sour. The indicator LED now stays on then switches off instead of blinking. The LEDs no longer blink either in the iMac's camera.
It took a lot to get into that case. Too bad it doesn't work anymore. Any tips or suggestions?
