Q Touch Sensor

I was looking all over for a http://www.instructables.com/id/SNYEINZF8Y3RMTW/ QT113, but apparently it's discontinued. Can anyone recommend a newer version of this part? Also, it cannot be SMD because I'm testing this product on a breadboard.

Digikey, Mouser and Newark all have stock. Not hard to find.

They're not in stock, that's the problem

I missed the part about SMT. Well SOIC's are really not hard to deal with (IMHO). You can get an adapter board or you can just solder 8 wires on. I don't know of anyone else who makes that (I didn't even know they made that). Otherwise PSOC's can do this but it requires considerable software effort (again my opinion). I could probably solder 8 wires onto a SOIC-8 in about 5 min. You need small wire of course. The adapter boards are 5.95 at DK:
