Beginners Microcontroller kit

Post by Eugene19 »

What would you recommend as the best beginners microcontroller kit to start learning about programming. I think the Raspberry PI looks interesting, but is it a good place to start?

I'd guess you want either Arduino or Raspberry Pi. Raspberry Pi is a small Linux computer with a bit of digital I/O onboard, not a microcontroller. Arduino is a microcontroller. You probably want to figure out which is more suitable for what you're interested in doing, and then the choice should hopefully become clear.
