Simple atmega328 question:
if all the digital pins can source/sink 40ma, would there be any issues if ALL the pins had a 40ma load? I;m just concerned trying to send 560ma through the chip

5 mA from all pins simultaneously is within spec. The 40 mA claim is bogus.
