You know, eBay already has a mechanism for eMailing you when there are new search results for a saved search... It works fine for searches that only rarely turn up anything at all ("LPKF"), but I'm not sure how it would work if you're trying to maintain a significantly sized list of the current things that match a search...

You hit the nail on the head for that this is a rare search and that these don't show up often.
