Arduino Icon on Application bar in Linux

Post by clair »

I'm using Fedora 15 LXDE spin and when I add the Arduino application to the applications bar, the Arduino logo/icon shows up in the applet edit window, but not when it is on the task bar. All that is there is the red circle with a slash through it. It functions just fine, but would really like to have the Arduino icon. (I'm a graphic designer and picky about such things!)

Anyone other Linux/Arduino users experience this?

I'm not too familiar with fedora, but in ubuntu i've done the same thing:

some of the distros you can right click the launcher (think that's what ubuntu calls the shortcuts) and select the image/icon for the launcher. Once you find that then just find the arduino icon image in the arduino folder.
