32-bit Arduino "Due" Due?
The adafruit people visited the Arduino factory recently. Any word on when the 32-bit Dooey is due?

hiya!
it's not out and there isn't an ETA, if and when the arduino team makes an announcement we'll post up about it right away!
cheers,

Re: 32-bit Arduino "Due" Due?
According to the Arduino blog in September of 2011, they planned for a "final and tested release by the end of 2011". A delay is almost inevitable for such a new product. It would actually be abnormal if they met the initial plan.
Of course the adafruit people can't speak for Arduino so we can't expect an ETA, price, or other inside information from you. At a minimum, can you say if its still on the drawing board? Did you have input on the Due? If so, are you happy with what you saw?

Separately, has the Adafruit team considered Leaflabs' 32-bit products based on STM32 ARM chips, but which are Arduino compatible?

At first I thought Adafruit dealt exclusively with ATMEL/Arduino devices, but you also offer LPC ARM chips. What's your opinion on the Leaflabs line?

we have not evaluated it yet.liam.ada wrote:Separately, has the Adafruit team considered Leaflabs' 32-bit products based on STM32 ARM chips, but which are Arduino compatible?

we also stock propeller chip based products and we have FPGAs, freescale iMX.233 processors, PIC32MX440F256H...liam.ada wrote:At first I thought Adafruit dealt exclusively with ATMEL/Arduino devices, but you also offer LPC ARM chips. What's your opinion on the Leaflabs line

hmm 8 bits to 32 bits 4 times the bits, 4 times the work
