I need help with the "Small Reduction Stepper Motor - 5VDC 48-Step 1/16 Gearing"
I am working on a track robot for class and i have a couple questions for this motor.
My first question is, what is the current rating on this stepper motor?
And my second question, right now I am currently running a bipolar stepper motor on my motor shield and I was wondering if I could run this unipolar motor as a bipolar stepper motor. My professor told me the run the motor as a bipolar and I was wondering how would I be able to do that.
Thank you!

Re: Reduction stepper motor help!
Current is ~250mA per phase. You can run a bipolar motor as a unipolar by simply not connecting the common lead (red) to ground. Running in this mode you can expect higher torque but lower top-speed.
