Xbee Adapter Kit

Post by mastermime »

Hello,

I am wondering if the Xbee Adapter Kit you sell will satisfy the requirements of my project. I am unexperienced when it comes to Xbees so bear with me.

I am using two Xbee Pro XSC modules to communicate between an Axon II MCU and an Arduino. http://www.societyofrobots.com/axon2/ax ... heet.shtml

Can I use your adapter kit for this?

Yes, it would work for that application. If using "Pro" model XBees, read through the assembly instructions for the adapter. There are a couple components (a capacitor and voltage regulator) that need to be installed differently to accommodate the larger Pro module.

Ok thanks. How would I go about mounting this since there are no mounting holes?

For Arduinos, I typically plug it in to a female header on a protoshield. For receivers on mobile robots, I usually mount it with double-sided foam tape.
