Question Regarding Burning Arduino Bootloaders

Postby Mr.Mo » Sat Nov 10, 2012 7:46 pm

Hello all,

It's my first time posting here, but hopefully you guys can help! Basically, I understand that you can use an Arduino loaded with a special sketch to burn a bootloader onto a blank AtMega chip (Arduino as ISP).

What I am wondering is if an Arduino Leonardo for example (which has an AtMega32u4) can be used to burn a bootloader on an Arduino Uno (which has the AtMega328).

Thanks in advance!
