Data logging shield for Arduino - v1.0 & ATmega32u4

Post by afannin_irl »

Hi,

I am new to this sort of thing do excuse me if I ask really stupid questions.

I want to get a Data logging shield for Arduino. It says a ATmega328 micro-controller is needed. I already own a Arduino Micro, which has a ATmega32u4 micro-controller.

I am wondering will the MicroSD Module for Arduino be compatible with the ATmega32u4?

Thanks in advance for any help!

You should be able to interface the micro-SD module to your Arduino Micro. The Arduino Micro has an SPI interface on its ICSP header.
