WS2801 Broken LED?
I have the WS2801 pixels (http://www.adafruit.com/products/322) and one of the LEDs appears to not be working correctly. It seems like it's not receiving commands from the Arduino. Sometimes it doesn't turn on at all, and if it does turn on, it gets stuck on that color until I disconnect power from the LEDs. All other LEDs work fine, its just one that's not working.

Re: WS2801 Broken LED?
Hi there,
Is the wonky pixel in the middle of the strand or at the end?
Well regardless...try giving the affected pixel a firm squeeze (flat against the embedded PCB inside), see if that changes the outcome. If that helps, it may simply be a questionable solder connection inside, which can be touched up. Otherwise, we can arrange for a replacement.

The broken LED is in the middle. And squeezing seems to have no effect.
