Polling project

by KiT on Sun Jun 02, 2013 6:24 pm

One of my dream projects is to build an audience response system. I'd prefer wireless but to start out wired is fine. So, everyone in the audience gets a polling/voting device and it has 4or5 buttons or a keypad on it. You ask a question, they answer, then you see the results. Please, someone tell me there is something like this out there in the DIY world. Someone has to have done this! I have arduino and pi ready to code! Just need something to work from.

Thanks!

How big an audience are you talking about? Getting signals from four or five I/O devices is a lot different than getting signals from four or five hundred.
When you void a product warranty, you give up your right to sue the manufacturer if something goes wrong and accept full responsibility for whatever happens next. And then you truly own the product.
