Arduino Problem
I was using the arduino uno i just received this week for the first time for class. We were using gadget shields in class and I noticed that one of the port sections was crooked. I could not move the port section back in place as that would likely snap it. Is it possible to get a replacement as I cannot use it when our class uses the shields?

Re: Arduino Problem
Headers can get bent if the board is dropped or mishandled during shipping. In most cases they can be bent back without damage. If you post a photo we can check it out.

Re: Arduino Problem
The crooked port seems uneasy to be put back in place. A lot of pressure would be needed to move it and I don't want to risk breaking it. Pictures of the board are shown below.

Re: Arduino Problem
I've seen much worse. You should be able to straighten that with no problem. Just press with both thumbs until it lines up with the one next to it.
