NUMBER OF LEDS FOR A 42 "TV

Hi okay? I have a question, I saw on your site a project of Ambilight with Arduino controller however I saw that the project is for a 27 "TV but my TV is 42" and is coming more than 60 ", I wonder Led how can I use the 42 "and the LEDs can qias type of RGB LED, can be TAPE? 'm Hanging on and be grateful. Note: Already ordered the ARDUINO UNO board.
