Question about Arduino Due

Post by camerons3 »

Hello,

I want to use the ATSAM3X8E chip, but because it's a surface mount chip I have ordered an Arduino Due and plan to use the ISP headers with my ATAVRISP2. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Also, is there any limitations to doing it this way? Or will it make no difference I just have to convert the Arduino Pin names to the ATSAM3X8E datasheets pins.

FYI: I am using Atmel Studio 6. No Arduino Code.

Thanks,

Cameron.

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work, but you'd probably have better luck asking over in the Atmel forums. They know their hardware and IDE better than we do.
