CC300 debug because of error

Post by roboscare »

Hello,
I've a serious problem with CC300 Breakout modul connected to Arduino Uno:
If I run the example-programs the seriel monitor only says:
Hello, CC3000!
Free RAM: 1071
Initializing...

That isn't much. So I made a debug (#define DEBUG_MODE (1) ). And I got additionally:
Initializing...
CC3000: init_spi

CC3000: Finished init_spi

init

start

CC3000: SpiOpen CC3000: WlanInterruptEnable.

CC3000: Finished SpiOpen

CC3000: ReadWlanInterruptPin - 001

CC3000: WriteWlanPin - 001

CC3000: ReadWlanInterruptPin - 001
CC3000: ReadWlanInterruptPin - 001
CC3000: ReadWlanInterruptPin - 001
etc.

Can anyone interprete these messages.
I would deeply appreciate an answer because I am doubting wether my CC3000 module is working correctly.

Thanks in advance

Please post clear, detailed pictures of both sides of the breakout, showing your soldering. Also, post a picture showing your connections to the Arduino

I think you want to re-do your solders. They look as if they haven't really flowed over the pads, so you probably have some intermittent connections there. Make sure to heat the pin and pad evenly, to allow the solder to flow.
