ftdi cable source

We are building a kit (still very preliminary) and want to avoid surface mount components. Where did you get your ftdi cables. Mouser etc sells them for the same price or more. I'd like to be able to get them cheaper to go with my kits.

you can buy them direct from FTDI

Thanks. I sent their sales people an email. Their site didnt appear to have anywhere to buy them direct for a reasonable price.
