I would love to do a small time kit biz

Post by shadow »

So, the actual kit would be quite small (a little smaller than ladyada's tv-b-gone), do i mail it to the consumer? Should i use ebay or take the time to set up a proper store website?

Also, do i need special protective envelopes?

Any help is apreciated

shadow: It might be a good idea to farm out your website design to someone else or get a free/cheap template from the web and build on that.

I used to spend days or weeks tweaking trying to make a good site design from scratch. No more; now I just grab one off the web and use it for whatever project I'm working on. (Most of them require that you keep a link in the footer to the template's designer.)

Not matter whether you get a pre-packaged layout or build one from scratch, however, you'll want to learn a bit of HTML and CSS. It's really not very hard to get the basics.
