honsetly i think its a bad deal, the microkorg isnt exactly very good and you can get them cheap. Why not ebay it and put the funds towards a x0xb0x?

i dont agree with u man i think that the MicroKorg is gr8 synth i really do..
i dont know if u worked with it, i workdand with this synth alot in my studio and specially live show's all over the world. and i can say that he's never let me down even one's.
BTW its my second MicroKorg
i know that he is very cheap synth (money i mean) BUT U CAN'T SAY THAT HE IS NOT GOOD synth
if u have an interesting offer for me i'll be more that happy to hear..(i mean getting x0xbox without spending alot of money)

sorry, but i had a microkorg for well over a year and honestly it was not a good synth, thin sounding, horrible editing etc, imo of course

for trance music its gr8 man alot of FX easy to control sounds..

you aren't going to trick anyone into thinking a microkorg is worth more than $200 no matter how much you talk it up

I have to say, I sold my MicroKorg recently, and it went for over $350...

That being said, I agree with the general sentiment of this thread, which is the MK is not up to much.

I've got a good handful of synths and have to say I actually rather like the MK. Even though it has some limitations you can make some pretty wicked sounds with it. Yes - editing it on board is a bit tedious. Coupling it with the software works great though and IMO it can produce some deep, complex patches. Does it sound like my Jupiter? No. Does it have a character of its own? You bet.

To each his own I suppose.

Having said all that ~ the MK still has a resale of $350.00. x0xes sell for at least double that amount. Be prepared to add cash to that trade.
