IC2 & 8

Postby Shorne86 » Wed Feb 01, 2012 6:04 pm

Hey guys, I tried contacting Willzyx to get the following parts but I havent heard from him in 4 weekdays. Im pretty keen to get this thing going again. Any way I need:
IC8 + socket –[74AC595]
IC2 – EEPROM ( [25C33 or AT25320 EEPROM]
And possibly
A microcontroller for the xoxbox (preloaded)

The micro is pretty easy to get but xoxshop de don't look to have IC2 & 8 seperate on their electronic parts list. Is there anyone that can help me out with these parts?

viewtopic.php?f=12&t=23076&start=45
last page shows my issues.

Those 2 IC's don't need to come from a x0x parts place.. You should be able to find them quite easily at most electronics parts suppliers. Like RS, Farnell, Digikey and Mouser etc..

Thanks Luap!
ill try em out. I tried Jaycar previously but they couldnt help me. (i'm in Australia)
So I found the EEPROM at Farnell
http://au.element14.com/jsp/search/brow ... tid=112438
(the DIP version)

but I can't find the IC8 - 74AC595 at any of the places you listed for me. is that the correct part number?
