======================================================================================
Rare Parts Kit with transistors used in earlier TB303 Basslines
2SA733(AP)'s + 2SC536(F)'s $55 US including Postage.
ALL PARTS ARE NEW except for the 2SC2291's and 2SC1583's

======================================================================================
1 x BA6110 Rohm OTA (9-SIP)
2 x AN6562 Panasonic(8-DIP) Dual Op-Amps ('Real' Panasonic brand.).
1 x LA4140 Sanyo AF Power amp (9-SIP).
1 x 2SK30A(Y) TO-92 FET <- Both used in original TB303
1 x 2SK30A(O) TO-92 FET <- Both used in original TB303
-------
1 x 2SC2291 (5-SIP) Mitsubishi Common Base Transistor (used BUT tested).
3 x 2SC1583 (5-SIP) Mitsubishi Common Emitter Transistors (used BUT tested).
-------
24 x 2SC536(F) Sanyo TO-92 NPN Transistors. <- 'Real' Sanyo Ones (In the original TB303/x0xb0x).
1 x 2SC945(P) NEC TO-92 NPN Transistors. <- For the 'Q11' Mod (if you use this you will have and extra 2SC536F for a spare).
-------
10 x 2SA733(AP) NEC TO-92 PNP Transistors <- 'Real' NEC Ones (In a real TB303) - The critical ones are selected for high gain.
(You need these 10 PNP transistors to make a x0xb0x)
======================================================================================

======================================================================================
Rare Parts Kit with transistors used in later TB303 Basslines
2SA733(AP)'s + 2SC945(P)'s $50 US including Postage.
ALL PARTS ARE NEW except for the 2SC2291's and 2SC1583's

Notes:

* Postage / Shipping is included, so there are no hidden charges.

* All of the options include the 10 PNP Transistors, so you don't need to find then select your own 'High Gain 733's'.

* The set includes the extremly rare 2SA733(AP) transistors for free, these were used in the actual Roland TB303 Basslines.

* All of the transistors are exactly what is specified for a x0xb0x, e.g., the 'rare' 2SC536(F) and NOT the more common 2SC536N(F) for example.

* Any of the above will work as well, and have been tested on the forums, they are all direct substitutes (they all go in the same way):

There is nothing wrong with used components, as long as they are tested, even Ladyada has used them in past kits:
ladyada wrote:...2sc2291's are so extraordinary rare that x0xb0x kits from adafruit come with 'pulled' 2291s (i do, however, test them)...
To be honest, if I was building another x0xb0x, I would use the used 2SC1583's and 2SC2291, as it makes absolutely NO difference!

Payment by PayPal

Postby Gaetano » Sun Mar 30, 2008 5:58 pm

I would prefer payment via PayPal, that way both me and the people who purchase the parts have a record of the transaction, and are protected by PayPal's buyer protection.
