Looking for 64kB EEPROM
Anyone have one with the bootloader on it? is there a way i can load it onto a 32KB one? Would i be able to use the USBTINYISP to do so? and if not, anyone want to sell me one? i need one to finish my project!

Re: Looking for 64kB EEPROM
If i send you one in the post, along with a "donation" can you send it back all programmed and ready to go? is it possible to program these chips with a USBTinyISP?

im really swamped right now to take requests
but you can just build a propeller programmer with a serial port jack and some basic components.

Re: Looking for 64kB EEPROM
Well, if you have a software-controlled project where the software has to tell everything what to do before anything happens, and you don't have any software on it, it's probably not going to do anything.

Re: Looking for 64kB EEPROM
Would you recommend just buying a FCDI cable? it would be cheaper...

Re: Looking for 64kB EEPROM
FTDI cable will def. be able to program the YBOX2 and any propeller chip. I use mine all the time
its not cheaper than building your own serial port programmer but if you dont have those parts kicking around it may be. its certainly faster
