Connecting RCA to a PSOne LCD

Post by clokey »

Hi There,

I am in the process of ordering a YBox 2 (and getting excited about the prospect). I have also managed to locate a LCD display that hooked up to a PSOne console. It's not the original Sony one (it's a Logic3 device), but its connectors are the same as the Sony one (e.g. a dc out pin and a PS AV multi in).

I am wondering how Ladyada has gone about connecting her YBox2 to the LCD as it is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ladyada/22 ... 958442813/ as she isn't using the connector on the front.

Is there any chance that you could share some pictures or some technical information on how its been done?

Thanks

M

use a 3.5mm -> RCA cable and plug it into 'A/V in' @ the back

I think that the Logic3 version I have has different connectors on the back e.g. it has an AVoutput/RGB Input socket (which looks like a female psone connector). I think I have one of these around http://store.richspsxparts.com/plpsxpsoneps.html so I'll try that first
