Twitter Widget crashes.

Post by jarable »

Got my YBox2 the other week - it's up and running and I've tested all the demo widgets.
I'm having some issues with the Twitter Widget - it crashes after a few minutes and gives me and "Error! 6" at the bottom of the screen. The other widgets will run nicely without problems.
Any thoughts?

I have run into the exact same problem. I mentioned it in an earlier post. I don't have the skill to attempt to fix it (or I would try).

I too am running into the samething. I finaly resolved all my trubleshooting with my network. Turns out I need to give static IP addresses to all my networked stuff but I am getting errors for the widgets now.

I am having trouble upon trouble -

1. Info Widget works fine :D

2. Twitter Widget does not work (error!6) :(

3. Alarm Widget does not work (more errors) :(

Anyone have some ideas?

I think that LadyAda is aware of the twitter problem. I think twitter changed the way that they display things and that sent the widget for a loop. What problems are you having with the alarm clock widget? what error is it displaying?

okay - I reload and now it works. It's just the Twitter that gives me the Error!6 message.
