Re: Wave shield playing track slow
All sorted!! I was using Audacity and changed convert to 22KHz twice, once in track window and at the bottom where it says Project Rate. By re doing it with only changing Project rate at bottom window to 22KHz has cured speed problem.

Re: Wave shield playing track too fast!!!!!!
I have the opposite problem.
I have an adafruit wave shield and wanted to check out the audio by playing a song in loop.
I used itunes to convert the file in wav and used the settings in the tutorial,
22.050 kHz sample rate,
16 bit sample size,
mono channel.
The songs I converted (all of them!!!) are going about twice or three times too fast and I just can't understand what's happening and how to solve the problem.
I also tried to convert the files using vlc with exactly the same frustrating result
I am using an arduino duemilanove and the waveHC library.
Has anyone some useful help?? I'm in a big hurry for a project and quite a newbie on arduino issues, so if anyone can help me solve asap this I would love it!!
