This seems like a pretty common and (hopefully) easy to fix problem on the boards here so I'm hoping someone can tell me what's up with my shield. The card reads OK but I'm not getting any sound from my iPod headphones (I can't imagine cheaper headphones than this!). There was an...incident with one of the ceramic capacitors so I replaced it is one from "The Shack". I believe I picked up the right part and I'm hoping that's not the issue. Attached are pictures of the top, bottom of my shield and the Radio Shack part I picked up. (Note: electrical tape on the card reader was added to reduce glare in the photo)
Thanks!

It looks like the kit has 5 .1 uF caps and 1 .01 uf cap. Are you sure it's not the .01 uf cap that died? It would be marked with a 104.
If you already threw it away, look to see if there's a .01 uf one on the board.

I don't believe I threw out a .01 because it was a different shape. The v1.1 instructions mention this. I've attached pictures of the installation instructions and my parts.

Thanks for the advice! I went back and resoldered all the ICs and it works perfectly!
