Motor Shield: Timers

Post by Andrei »

Hi,

I am using the motorshield to power DC motors on ports M3 and M4. I need to use timer interrupts in my main program and am aware that since i am not using any servo motors Digital pins 9 and 10 are free. My question is, which timer, if any, is free if these pins are unused?

Thank you

Andrei

I believe I found this to be Timer 1, for which I believe I can use this library :http://www.arduino.cc/playground/Code/Timer1.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
