Motor Shield servo pins to arduino pins?

Post by ygreq »

Hey,

Does anyone know what SERVO_1 and SERVO_2 stand for in relation to arduino pins? I know that you can use servos without a motor shield/interface. (Which would bring me to the second question: Why are the SERVO_1 and SERVO_2 present?)

In other words, SERVO_1 would be GND, VCC and which pin?

Thank you!

Servos 1 and 2 are connected to Arduino pins 9 & 10.
(Which would bring me to the second question: Why are the SERVO_1 and SERVO_2 present?)
They just break the pins out to convenient servo-compatible 3-pin headers.
