Learning the Adafruit Motor shield library

Post by ygreq »

I am guessing that is the last topic for today. :) I didn't want to ask these things on the other topics I started so that those topics will be meaningful for others as well.

Do you know how I can find/learn things about the motor libraries you posted here http://www.ladyada.net/make/mshield/download.html ?

I was interested to find out what SINGLE, DOUBLE or INTERLEAVE mean, for example, in the StepperMotor sketch. So not to bother you or any other with newbie questions maybe you can point me in the right direction (if there is one).

Thank you,
ygreq

PS: I didn't understand from the link I posted which of the libraries should I copy into the Arduino/Libraries folder (because you say they both should be renamed AFmotor. Any suggestions?

The best way to learn is to run the examples, then try to modify them so that you understand what all the functions and their parameters do.
both should be renamed AFmotor
I believe that is a mistake. The AccelStepper library folder should be named AccelStepper.
