Hello,
I just finished soldering all the components for the motor shield: http://www.ladyada.net/make/mshield/solder.html and attached / soldered it to my Arduino Uno. However, when I power it up the power LED on the motor shield is off even though the LEDs on the Uno are on. Also, when I attached a motor to run the code here: http://www.ladyada.net/make/mshield/use.html I uploaded the code to the Uno, but nothing is happening with the motors. What can I do to troubleshoot things?
Thanks,
Digimas

How are you powering the shield? If you are using Arduino power, you need to install the power jumper (next to the external power terminals).
If you post photos of the front and back of the board we can have a look for any assembly issues.

Got it working:
I didn't have the power jumper connected so that's why the power LED wasn't on. Also, I had my motor connected to M1 instead of M2. Thanks for the help!
