Adafruit Motor/Stepper/Servo Shield

Post by ikkentim »

When I use this Adafruit Motor/Stepper/Servo Shield on a Arduino Uno, can I still use the 3V3, 5V and GND pins of my Arduino ?

Yes. They will be easier to access if you build the shield using stacking headers instead of the standard headers.

The pin is there - right next to the 5v. pin. But there is no breakout hole for it. The stacking headers will bring it out as a female header socket - just like on the Arduino. :D
