Hi,
I'm interested in creating an Arduino device that sends a notification to the user when the temperature sensor reads temperatures above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Of the following methods, what would be the cheapest in terms of transmission parts/shields that I would need to purchase, assuming transmission distance was not a consideration?
-radio (AM/FM)
-wifi
-bluetooth
-voice/ text/ fax/ email
-any others?
Are there models of each of the above transmission parts/shields that are able to withstand temperatures above 100 degrees Fahrenheit?
Thank you,
Peter

You might want to look into the XBee modules: http://www.adafruit.com/category/29
