Proto-Screw Shield and Ethernet

Post by Zorix »

Hello everyone. I can't tell from the picture, but can the proto-screw shield sit between the arduino and the ethernet module? I know it needs the ISP header, so is there a way to pass that through the proto-screw shield? Thanks everyone.

You would need to make a jumper for it. Ribbon cable and IDC connectors would be the neatest way.

The holes would not line up with a stackable double row 6 pin header? Thanks.

Not sure. I can take a look later today. In any case, it won't be more than 0.05" off from the nearest hole. You could make a "magical" header like the one in the DIY shield kit: http://www.adafruit.com/products/187. That would be cleaner than the ribbon-cable solution.

Thanks for checking. I can try the header if it doesn't line up. Thank you.

Just checked. The ISP header does line up nicely with the prototyping grid above. :D
