Will Datalogger do this?

Post by zolpix »

Hi, i am new to arduino and am thinking about buying the data logging shield. What i want to do is, record 5 voltage inputs at the same time with a range of -10v to 10v. The recording must record 100 times but the length of time needs to be adjustable by the user. When its finished getting the 100 readings i would like it to be written to a csv file. Is the data logging capable of doing what i need? Any help much appreciated.

Yes. The logging/timing part of that it will do easily. You will need some front-end circuitry to scale your -10 to 10v input to the 0-5v range of the Arduino A/D converter.
