Hey, So I just got the data logging shield and am going through the tutorials for the Temp/Light logger. I have done all the background work and everything is compiling perfectly but when I open the serial monitor to view the outputs, it is showing a temperature of 188.5 - 200 degrees C or 368 - 400 degrees F. Any ideas on why this is happening? I changed the connection to the temp sensor to +5V instead of the 3.3V but this did nothing.
I am using the Arduino Uno with software 0022. Photo resistor CDS, and Temp sensor TMP36. The Photo sensor is working great and the Serial monitor produces this:
Light reading = 807 - Very bright
Temp reading = 736 - 2.37 volts
187.19 degrees C
368.94 degrees F
Light reading = 805 - Very bright
Temp reading = 737 - 2.38 volts
187.51 degrees C
369.52 degrees F
Light reading = 806 - Very bright
Temp reading = 736 - 2.37 volts
187.19 degrees C
368.94 degrees F
Light reading = 810 - Very bright
Temp reading = 739 - 2.38 volts
188.15 degrees C
370.68 degrees F

Post photos showing all your connections and we'll take a look.

Re: Data Logging Shield
I am having a terrible time getting to the right place in this forum to post a question.
I am working my way through Data Logger examples. Where could I find a
user manual for the SD card. (or any other of the "include ***.h" libraries. All I can find is examples, but I would like to see the complete command set.
Thanks
Chuck Young
