Hi,
I made a mistake when soldering the resistor on the GPS shield. I put the 10K resistor in R2 instead of R3. I took it out with some desoldering braid, but it was a little rough. I scratched the PCB when I was taking the resistor as shown on the picture attached.
I bought a new resistor to replace the mistake, but I am wondering if the scratch of the PCB will make the board not work. I don't want to continue if that's the case. Also, could I have left the 10K resistor on R2, then buy another one and put it in R3?
Thanks for the help. (btw: looking forward to checking out the app)

Re: Soldering question for the GPS shield
The scratch appears to be superficial. It should not affect the operation of the shield.
