Motor shield and power

Post by KaKa9595 »

Hi

I have been reading you tutorial about powering the Motor Shield, but i have a hard time understanding it. I don't know when and how to power the shield?

Altso:
Can I use these DC motors with the shield?
Can I use this servo with the shield?
How can i add sensors and so?

Thanks! :)

Both the gearmotor and the servo you link should be compatible with the shield.

The suggested voltage for the gearmotor is 4.5v. It will probably work fine with a supply in the 5-9v range.

Check this link for more detail on powering your motors: http://forums.adafruit.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=26873
